International Festival & Summer School PIANO WEEK returns to Rugby School, the birthplace of Rugby football, for two consecutive weeks in 2024: between 21st and 28th July (Week I) and between 28th July and 4th August (Week II). Headed by British concert pianist Samantha Ward (founder and artistic director) and Polish concert pianist Maciej Raginia (creative director), the summer school is based at the state-of-the-art, brilliantly equipped music department, offering residential, non-residential and online participants an opportunity to study with distinguished concert artists, pedagogues and educators in the most stimulating environment. The festival’s high-calibre performances given by faculty members alongside appearances by world-renowned guest artists will be held in the stunning Memorial Chapel and will accompany the course, which is open to pianists of any age and ability. Other UK residencies in July 2024 include London (Dulwich College).
